Weekly Message: The Most Wonderful Time...

We have all heard the popular Christmas song, “Its the Most Wonderful Time of the Year”. And, no doubt, most of us have felt this kind of Christmas joy in our lives. Yet during this “most wonderful time”, some dear friends may also be experiencing struggles or loneliness.

Sharing the light of the Savior, at this time of year may mean sharing happy moments and memories. But it also may mean making a personal visit to a loved one in need; or sharing a kind word, a card, or a letter to someone experiencing difficulty, sorrow, or challenges.

For me, the promise of Christmas is that with faith in our Savior and the help of the Holy Ghost, hearts can be lifted or softened, wounds can be healed, and smiles can replace heartache.

I hope each of us will feel this promise fulfilled in our lives at this “wonderful time of year”…and always...as we meekly walk with our Savior all year round.
