Devotion and Discourse Series
The Devotion and Discourse series provides a unique opportunity for Young Single Adults to hear from inspiring speakers—both from our faith and from other faith-based communities in the Salt Lake Valley. Through this series, we seek to strengthen our testimonies of Jesus Christ while recognizing the shared values and beliefs we hold with those of other faith traditions.
Each event alternates between an LDS speaker and a guest speaker from another faith. In the past, we have been privileged to hear from Rabbi Sam Spector and Brother John Bytheway, both of whom shared powerful and inspiring messages.
This month, we are pleased to welcome Pastor Corey Hodges of The Point Church in Kearns, Utah, as our guest speaker on February 9th at 7 P.M. (see attachment)
By engaging in meaningful discussions and learning from those outside our faith, we foster greater unity, understanding, and appreciation for the ways in which Christ’s teachings influence people of all backgrounds.
We invite all YSAs to take part in these enriching opportunities and encourage them to bring a friend!
